Other highlights include damage on colliding with objects, new asteroid fields and the much wanted chase camera
Thursday, May 15th, 2014 : New update for Starpoint Gemini 2 brings the game up to v0.7011 and includes collision!
We've focused more on fixes this time, rather than new features, but there are some of those too. The most visible is physics. You can now bump into objects!
The other thing worthy of mentioning is Subscribe. Subscribing to mods via the browser or the Steam Client now works as intended.
Thursday, April 24th, 2014 : Update v0.7003 released on Steam. Workshop integrated and 25% discount to boot!
After taking a bit more time on this one, it's high time for a new update. v0.7003 brings a lot of new things and the absolute highlights are cloaking, global events, junkyard and Steam Workshop integration! To celebrate the latest update, SG2 is offered at a 25% discount for a whole week!
Tuesday, April 1st, 2014 : Update v0.7001 brings improved mission object markers
No April's fool joke here. Just one of those regular updates we've grown accustomed to :).
For this update's highlight, I'll choose the updated mission object markers as they really can help a lot.
And as a graphic/gameplay highlight I suggest you try going near one of those wormholes :).
Thursday, March 27th, 2014 : Hero contest comes to an end!
That is it! The hero contest is over. Per contest rules, the first five contesters will receive their character reenacted in the game, along with their esteemed name in the credits section and of course a complimentary Steam key for Starpoint Gemini 2.

Update v0.6011 going live! We've got several new things for you today among which is the Skill & Perk respec panel on stations and planets
so you can change your skill modifiers and chosen perks. The visual upgrade this time goes for anomalies. You can check them out in-game.
Friday, February 14th, 2014 : Update v0.6009 rolling out on Steam
Update 0.6009 brings an overhaul of the asteroid field system, both in-code as well as the visual part.
The place-holder asteroid models are now switched with new models and we've also done the first round of asteroid field optimization
bringing, in some cases a performance improvement of up to 30%. We hope you like what we're doing!

Hi everyone! Time for another quick bit of news. As the title says, the first update this year is now released. The absolute highlight of this update is the ability to launch fighters... finally ;). The complete changelist can be found on Steam.

A couple of days before the newest update goes to Steam, we have taken some time to tinker around with the Oculus rift. It really does give a new perspective to the game :).
Friday, December 20th, 2013 : Update 15 goes live accompanied by a new trailer
To celebrate our 15th update (not counting the 3 quickfixes ;) ), we've compiled a 3 minute overview of the many features already implemented in the game: freelance missions, 70+ different ships, ship upgrade, enhancements, skills, perks, scanning anomalies, repairing structures, salvaging derelicts, combat, community suggested HUD additions like the tactical overlay... With the amazing help from our community both on Steam and our own forum, progress on Starpoint Gemini 2 is going excellent. We got another update go live today (one more and we'll have a dozen :) ) and we hope to keep the momentum going with more gameplay additions, graphic features and bug-fixes just around the corner.
